Following the success of past Ancient of Days Conferences (held annually in July 2003 - 2005), the inaugural "Roswell UFO Conference" is proud to offer a line-up of all "New Mexican" researchers - 4 of whom make their homes right here in Roswell New Mexico!

Dennis Balthaser (website) served 3 years ('59-62) with the United States Army in the 815th Engineering Battalion. After some 33 years in Civil Engineering, Dennis retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in 1996. Having been keenly interested in the Roswell Incident of 1947, Dennis decided to move to Roswell, New Mexico, to pursue his avocation: Ufology.

Initially Dennis worked as an Engineering Consultant in Roswell, volunteering his time at the International UFO Museum and Research Center on weekends. Nine months later he resigned from the engineering firm, assuming the duties of IUFOMRC Operations Manager, served on the Board of Directors and became the UFO Investigator for the Museum, as a full time volunteer. Due to his love of ufology, his dedication and his exhaustive work, Dennis is regarded as a leading investigator and ufologist by his peers, communicating regularly with such well known researchers as Stanton Friedman, Donald R. Schmitt, &  Wendy Connors. Currently, in that Dennis is no longer affiliated with the Museum, he is able to devote his full time as an independent researcher/investigator to the Roswell Incident, Area 51 and underground bases research,  and frequently lectures on these and other topics, related to ufology. Dennis is a Certified Mutual UFO Network Field Investigator, a member of Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association, and belongs to several ufology organizations.

According to well-known Roswell researcher Stanton Friedman, "Dennis is the researcher in Roswell all
the other researchers go to for the answers." Given his excellent standing among his peers and attention to detail, Dennis is the perfect choice to present an exhaustive timeline of the 1947 Roswell UFO Incident, providing names, dates, and roles of all major participants involved in viewing, retrieving, and reporting the 1947 crash wreckage. Whether you've barely heard of Roswell, or consider yourself well-learned, this lecture will assuredly teach you more facts about "the incident" than you ever thought possible!
 

Dr. Don Burleson, Ph.D. (website) studied at Yale University (with the Institute of Far Eastern Languages), and pursued graduate studies at Midwestern State University (Texas), the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), Rivier College (New Hampshire), and Columbia Pacific University (San Rafael, California). He holds Master's degrees both in mathematics and in English, and a Ph.D. in English literature, with a dissertation on H. P. Lovecraft. He has taught at many colleges and universities, most recently at Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell. He once held a Top Secret security clearance in U.S. Air Force Intelligence as a Chinese language specialist. He is also fluent in Spanish and has a reading knowledge of French and smatterings of several other languages.

Since 1996 Burleson and his wife Mollie have lived in Roswell, New Mexico, where Burleson for eight years was the director (and network administrator) of one of the computer labs at Eastern New Mexico University, until resigning from that position in August 2005 to accept a faculty position in the Mathematics Department at the same university. He is a certified UFO field investigator, research consultant, and New Mexico State Director for MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network as well as author of "The Golden Age of UFOs," "UFO Secrecy and the Murder of Marilyn Monroe," and "Arroyo" (a novel).

At the request of conference organizer Guy Malone, Dr. Burleson will begin his lecture with an "Introduction to MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network with the intent of informing conference attendees about the world's largest grassroots civilian led UFO research organization, and what to do to report a UFO sighting to MUFON. The main focus of his lecture (from his book of the same title) will argue that Marilyn Monroe was murdered by the Kennedys after her relationship(s) with John F. and Robert Kennedy "turned sour," and she was threatening a "tell-all" press conference where she would expose what these leaders had confided to her (pillow talk), including National Security secrets pertaining to UFOs. With evidence from CIA and FBI documents, veteran writer and UFO researcher Donald Burleson nails the responsible parties and demonstrates how and why an American Icon died.
 

William R. Lyne (website) was born in Big Spring, Texas, and raised in West Texas oil boom towns and ranching country. He had a Top Secret clearance in Air Force Intelligence, earned a B.S. degree with a double major in Art and Industrial Technology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, acquired an M.F.A. in Studio Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 1969, and has lived in New Mexico for over 28 years. In 1975, he rejected a high-paying and prestigious executive CIA position offered by then director George Bush, because he believes the National Security Act of 1947 is an illegal betrayal of American Sovereignty and liberty, and that the flying saucer, as man's greatest invention, should be enjoyed by all. He believes that the USA government should be prohibited from engaging in covert and illegal mind-control of the American people, because it fraudulently violates our bill of (Human) Rights, by circumventing our right to fully informed consent or refusal. Topic : "Pentagon Aliens : The Ongoing Cover-Up of Man-Made UFO Technologies" In case you haven't caught on, Bill Lyne is our "wild-card player" for this conference! A firm believer that UFOs are entirely a man-made phenomenon suppressed by elite "Illuminazi" (his word) factions - for the purpose of maintaining financial control of the planet via an oil monopoly which would be rendered needless if Tesla's methods of alternative propulsion were released to the public domain. He began his research leading to "Pentagon Aliens" over 48 years ago, and will express the view that the American C.I.A. has covertly perpetrated popular belief in aliens in order to cover the technological papertrail leading to man-made UFOs.
Evening Workshop : "Tesla's Flying Machine : The Nitty-Gritties of UFO Technology" Lyne will back his claims in this second lecture, by detailing the actual science and mechanics of Flying Saucer technology (elctro-magnetic propulsion) pioneered by Nikola Tesla pre-WW2, which he later worked on with Nazi scientists in Germany, and after many were "imported" to the U.S. via the clandestine "Operation Paperclip." Obviously, this lecture is not for everyone, and is offered as an evening workshop to politely excuse those who might find the Alien Light Parade in downtown Roswell more to their liking. (The lecture is scheduled to be included on the DVD of the conference however.)

Topic : "UFOs 101 : Why Should I Care?
Part 1 provides an introductory, yet exhaustive view of the UFO & Abduction phenomena, centered on the many books, researchers, and activists in the field(s) of Ufology and Abduction research, including several PhD's. The lecture is targeted primarily at skeptics, or those who need to be brought up to speed on the reality of the phenomenon, in order to make them more willing to consider the practical applications of this topic, as well as the theological implications. Especially suitable for media, government representatives, teachers, counselors, and clergy.

Part 2 focuses on many of the spiritual beliefs affiliated with or "spawned" by the phenomena, including UFO cults, New Age beliefs, and an overview of the popular Biblical paradigms (I.E., "the demonic view" and the "Genesis 6 view"). Ends with a brief yet interesting - and no doubt controversial - view of the 1947 Roswell Incident, based upon now de-classified military records, which are not well-known among the general population.

Sgt. Clifford Stone (Detailed bio at UFOevidence.org) spent 22 years in the US Army as a part of an extremely elite and secret group that was rapidly dispatched to crash sites in order to recover UFO or ET craft, bodies, and artifacts. Since his retirement from the Army, he has devoted his time to a diligent Freedom of Information Act search of government archives. He maintains that we have knowledge that intelligent life is visiting this planet in craft capable of traveling distances of many light years very quickly; effectively bypassing acceptably known physics. Further, he stresses that our recovery of these ET craft and artifacts have allowed our government to make staggering scientific gains of great potential benefit to the world. He maintains, as do many others, that this information is held in deeply secret programs beyond Constitutional controls and safeguards, and that despite the end of the cold war, those controlling these 'black projects' have continued to keep these important discoveries to themselves and for motives known only to them. Sgt. Stone is coming forward with his story to encourage citizens and our elected officials to open investigations and end this Constitutional bypass by a powerful and covert organization operating under our noses and in our skies. He is the author of "UFOs Are Real."

Topic : "Air Force Documentation of UFOs 1940's to Present : An Overview of Projects Twinkle, Sign, Grudge, Blue Book and Beyond." While nobody who has served in the military may speak openly of UFOs they experienced or observed while in the line of duty, Sgt. Stone will present an astounding array of what anyone could find out via The Freedom of Information Act. Stone will present an exhaustive overview of what Air Force investigations into "The UFO Problem" discovered (especially in the 1940's - 1960s - when secrecy protocols were not as strict as the modern era), as well as what supportive "friends in the know" have been able to discreetly tell him of modern incidences of UFOs reported to the Air Force.
