Stephen Bassett (website) is a political activist, founder of Paradigm Research Group, Executive Director of the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee (X-PPAC, pronounced "expack"), author of the Paradigm Clock website, and a political columnist, commentator and former Independent candidate for Congress.   He is the executive producer of the X-Conference.

Presently he is the only registered lobbyist in the United States representing extraterrestrial related phenomena research/activist organizations, and X-PPAC is the first political action committee to target the political implications of extraterrestrial related phenomena.  Between April 19 and November 5 of 2002 he conducted an independent candidacy in the 2002 congressional campaign for the 8th District of Maryland.  It was the first instance in which a candidate on the November ballot in a federal election addressed the matter of an extraterrestrial presence and the government imposed truth embargo.

On January 13 of 2003 he launched a new project, Citizen Hearing, which intends to conduct a week-long hearing in Washington, DC before former Members of the House and Senate.  The motto for this project is, "If Congress will not do its job, the people will."

Since 1996 Bassett has assisted a number of organizations and initiatives, which have been making the case for 1) an end to the government embargo on the truth surrounding an extraterrestrial presence and 2) open congressional hearings to take the testimony of former military and agency employees witness to extraterrestrial related events and evidence.  He has spoken to millions of Americans about the likelihood and implications of a formal disclosure event.

Richard Dolan (website) As an undergraduate student at Alfred University, I studied History, English, and Philosophy, and discovered a deep passion for the discipline of history. I was fortunate to earn a scholarship to study at Oxford University, then closely missed receiving a Rhodes Scholarship. In retrospect, I clearly see that I lacked the maturity for such a distinction, but even then showed the good instincts of alienating the selection committee.

I did my graduate work at the University of Rochester, where I focused on German and Soviet studies before moving on to American Cold War diplomacy...  Around 1994, the UFO problem began to interest me. .. Fundamentally, I am a history and politics sort, and it was from this angle of approach that I reached the UFO problem. The thing that intrigued me was the cultural schizophrenia involved in the entire matter. The fact that mainstream and academic culture (what I refer to as "official culture") continues to treat UFOs as amusement, but that so many intelligent people privately take it seriously. I also knew that many people claimed the UFO problem was treated with great secrecy by the military. Where was the truth?, I wanted to know.

Throughout 1995, 1996, and 1997, I spent most of my spare time conducting a fairly systematic bibliographic search, hunting down the many out-of-print books and UFO documents released over the years through the Freedom of Information Act. Once I began to delve, I found the amount of information nearly overwhelming. I was methodical, however, and eventually prepared a detailed chronology of relevant events, and realized it was more than enough for a useful text on the subject. So I set out to write it. And now I have...

Dr. Steven Greer (website) Beginning in 1993, I started an effort that was designed to identify firsthand military and government witnesses to UFO events and projects, as well as other evidence to be used in a public disclosure. From 1993, we spent considerable time and resources briefing the Clinton Administration, including CIA Director James Woolsey, senior military officials at the Pentagon, and select members of Congress, among others. In April of 1997, more than a dozen such government and military witnesses were assembled in Washington DC for briefings with Congressmen, Pentagon officials and others. There, we specifically requested open Congressional Hearings on the subject. None were forthcoming.

In 1998, we set out to "privatize" the disclosure process by raising the funds to videotape, edit, and organize over 100 military and government witnesses to UFO events and projects. We had estimated that between $2 million and $4 million would be needed to do this on a worldwide basis. By August of 2000 only about 5% of this amount had been raised but we decided to proceed since further delay was deemed imprudent given the serious issues involved here. So beginning in August we began creating the Witness Archive Project and we set about the task of traveling all over the world to interview these witnesses in broadcast quality digital video format. Due to the severe limitation of funds, this effort was predominantly prepared by myself and a few other volunteers roughly from August 2000 through December 2000.  Continued here >>>

John Lear  is the son of the famous inventor of the Lear Jet. He is a Lockheed L-1011 Captain and is highly regarded in aviation circles. He has flown over 150 test aircraft and has won every award granted by the Federal Aviation Administration. John also holds 18 world speed records and has worked for 28 different Aircraft Corporations. Now retired with over 19,000 hours of flight-time, he has flown in over 100 different types of planes in 60 different counties around the world. He flew secret missions for the CIA in Central and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa between 1966 and 1983. He has flown as Captain and check pilot for over 10 different airlines.

During the late 1980s and early 1990s, John began coming forward with some startling revelations concerning the subject of aerial phenomena and Unidentified Flying Objects. In his famous November 2003 interview with Art Bell, Lear posed what he believed to represent a detailed list facts about the UFO phenomena. Once fully briefed on Lear's view and asked (if given the choice) would Art Bell disclose these facts to the American Public? Based on Lears' arguments, Bell said "No."
